Student Shoutout: Ty Witt
Ty was a guy that came in and was so good at just getting things done. He was so willing to help and learn anything and everything possible. He was awesome to hop into a project, assignment, etc.
Then we have the chance to interview him for a Marketing Assistant position & he rolled out a marketing plan that made me thought “that plan could be put into place immediately”.
Ty has been massive in helping we some fun events and has pivoted his attention well towards Women’s Basketball and it excites me.
Surplus Sale
Ty is one who takes on tasks that are a little unknown that can also be monotonous. (Should we talk about his willingness to print shipping labels for FedEx? Let’s not, but know that it happened.) He took on a project to create some additional revenue, which had some unknowns. He helped develop an inventory of excess marketing items that we had, and created an easy to use place for fans to upgrade their fan caves (Want to upgrade your own? Click here ;)
I have been grateful for how Ty has handled even the Customer Support side of things to make this a great experience for fans.
Fan Jam
I wasn’t involved in this one, which is a great sign at how independent Ty is on projects. He created the second annual Fan Jam for students as a part of Homecoming activities for BYU students. This event was a huge hit and had some content worth watching.
Summary
I’ll summarize by saying that Ty is the kind of guy who comes early, stays late, puts his name in the hat to help, or will simply just do it without being asked. A MASSIVE teammate and a great leader.
Ty’s one thing: optimal organization
He’s got the I’s dotted and T’s crossed and keeps a good balance with everything.
